Formed in 2012,Spreading Roots is a Power Blues/Hard Rock Band with the roots deeply engraved in the Blues and Music of the 60's & the 70's. From a country Like India and a city called Gauhati(Assam) where the Music is so diversed,their main Goal is to bring about the Old School music that is almost lost nowadays,

The band comprises of a cluster of talented Musicians of the country that hails from Veteran bands that rocked the late 80's & early 90's in India such as "Dorian Platonic","Metal Age","Months Mind","The Great Generation","Chakra","Crystal Ann" And also consist of members from next-generation bands such as "Rectified Spirit","Magnum Opus" and "Bleeding
With members hailing from various musical backgrounds such as the Blues,R'n'B,
Rock 'n' Roll to Classic hard Rock of the 60's and the 70's, and playing together
in the same Band has created a sound bearing the taste of Heavy and Power Blues
yet with the groove of sweet and melodic bluesy riffs.
