Antariksh, a New Delhi based Hindi Rock act is the first of its kind. Consisting of band members with backgrounds ranging from IIT to DCE to NSIT, McKinsey to CEB to Sapient, who have previously played for bands such Prestorika, Decibel, and Under Siege, the band brings together the perspectives from both corporate as well as creative spheres of life into their music.

Standing at the crossroad of some tasty melodies and spicy grooves, Antariksh creates a very fresh, and progressive sound borrowing nuances from Rock, Pop, Reggae, Carnatic, and Funk music presented in a cohesive and powerful manner. The band has dared to bring the progressive rock style to mainstream Hindi music while still retaining the essence and authenticity of the style.

Antariksh has been creating waves over the last year delivering some of most splendid and successful shows headlining at various college festivals, music festivals, and corporate events. The band was also shortlisted amongst 167 bands to kickstart India Today's Youth Summit, 'Mindrocks' along with various eminent personalities including Farhan Akhtar, Gul Panag, Leander Paes, Arvind Kejriwal, Virat Kohli, and a few others as speakers. Recently, the band was also invited to speak and play at a Tedx event.

Their first single, 'Dheere Dheere' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIQfqnRJZ8g ) released in 2013 was selected in the top 5 songs in VIMA India awards, and has now been nominated for VIMA Asia Awards.
